More than a century has passed since Carl Jung birthed his seminal work on the topic, <em>Psychological Types</em>, which was later formalized and popularized by Myers-Briggs. Burgeoning enthusiasm in personality psychology has since generated a plethora of websites devoted to typology, often appealing to popular interest with catchy quizzes, op-ed articles, and fun facts best described as “infotainment.” Enjoyable as these websites are, we aspire to be different.</p><p>Since its founding in 2009, Personality Junkie® has made a name for itself by picking up where other personality sites leave off. Our aim is to provide thought-provoking insights and analyses through the lens of type, deepening readers’ understanding of the <em>whole</em> self, including shining light on the less conscious elements of personality (e.g., the inferior function) that may disrupt authentic development.
